Baldy Range Trail is closed for maintenance works 14 June 2024 - 28 June 2024 from the intersection of Dingi Dingi Ridge Trail to Doctors Flat Road.

 

During this period, access to Lowells Flat and McIntyres campgrounds is via Dingi Dingi Ridge trail off Two Sticks Road.

 

Other Closures:

  • Webbs Ridge Trail between Gentle Annie Trail and Waterfall Trail
  • Powerline Trail

Flea Creek Campground is accessible via Gentle Annie Trail.

Lowells Flat and McIntyres Campgrounds are accessible via Two Sticks Road/Dingi Dingi Ridge Trail/Waterfall Trail.

Other planned events: Notification of Ongoing 1080 Baiting - Wild Dogs/Foxes

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a baiting program using meat baits and canid pest ejectors containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes. The program will be ongoing from March 4th, 2024 until September 4th, 2024 in the following areas:

  • Brindabella National Park
  • Bimberi Nature Reserve

All baiting locations will be identifiable by signs.

Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks and reserves. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
