Closed areas: Part park closure - Mount Kaputar National Park bushfire damage

The majority of Mount Kaputar National Park is now open, but the following areas remain closed due to bushfire damage.

Bark Hut campground and picnic area, Euglah Rock walking track and Kaputar Plateau walk are due to open on Monday 30 March 2020.

The following walks will remain closed until safe to open:

  • Bundabulla Circuit
  • Lindsay Rock Tops
  • Eckford lookout walk
  • Mount Kaputar Summit walking track (Summit Road and lookout are open)
  • Scutts Hut and Kurrawonga Falls walk
  • West Kaputar lookout

Do not enter closed areas. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For further information contact the NPWS Narrabri office on 02 6792 7300 and continue to check this website for alerts and updates on closures.
