Closed areas: Section of No.1 Break Road and Rocky Road Closed

A section of No.1 Break Road is closed between Top Crossing Road and the Newell Highway due to flood damage. Rocky Road is closed between Burma Road and No.1 Break Road. The closures will remain in place until further notice.

Dandry Gorge Sculptures in the Scrub will remain open and is accessible via Baradine along the western section of No.1 Break Road and Top Crossing Road. 

Salt Caves Lookout will remain open and is accessible via Burma Road, Country Line Road and Wellyard Road.

Other planned events: Notice of 1080 Baiting

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a baiting program using ground baits containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes. The program will be conducted between 6th August 2020 to the 6th September 2020 in Timmallallie National Park, Pilliga East State Conservation Area, and Pilliga Nature Reserve.

All baiting locations will be identifiable by signs.

Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks and reserves. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
