The Governor Summit (Corrunbral Borawah) walking track is closed until further notice for upgrades to the elevated walkway sections.
The Governor lookout walking track (including the carpark and lookout platform) is now reopened, however access past the barricade to The Governor Summit walking track is prohibited.

The Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes.
Ground baiting will occur in Pilliga National Park and Pilliga State Conservation Area.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location.
Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program from 1st July 2025 to 31st December 2025. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of feral animals, wild dogs and foxes.
The program will take place in Gwydir Wetlands State Conservation Area.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program from 3rd May 2025 to 31st December 2025. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison grain for the control of feral pigs.
The program will take place in Budelah Nature Reserve as weather and seasonal conditions allow. Australian wildlife has a naturally high tolerance to 1080 and will not be negatively impacted.
The program is designed to minimise the impact of feral pigs on native vegetation, wildlife and neighbouring enterprises.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

There are significant washouts on the gravel section of Kaputar Rd in Mount Kaputar National Park.
Washouts can be harmful to vehicles and passengers. Please travel this section of road with caution and drive through washouts at very low speed.
