Closed areas: South Ballina Break Wall Road closed

The South Ballina Break Wall Road entrance is closed at Mobbs Bay due to traffic safety risks. Public vehicle access to South Break Wall is now prohibited. Walkers and cyclists can still access the closed section of road to get to the beach and break wall. Vehicles can still drive to the Mobbs Bay area within Richmond River Nature Reserve.

The closure will be reviewed at the end of November 2020 and is likely to be extended.

Please follow the directions of all signage and do not park in front of the boom gate as the area needs to be accessible for emergency service vehicles. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, contact the NPWS Alstonville office 02 6627 0200.
