The boardwalk between Tamboi trail and Brambles Green campground is closed due to flood damage.
You'll need to follow the detour on Mungo track at Mungo Brush. Please follow the walking track to the beach and then walk south for 4km. Take the slashed management trail which connects the beach to Mungo Brush Road to re-join Mungo track route.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an aerial baiting program from Saturday 7 October 2023 to Friday 15 October 2023 in the following parks and reserves:
- Barakee National Park
- Barrakee State Conservation Area
- Biriwal Bulga National Park
- Bugan Nature Reserve
- Ghin-Doo-Ee National Park
- Goonook Nature Reserve
- Talawahl Nature Reserve
- Tapin Tops National Park
- Wallamba Nature Reserve
The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise the impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Fire bans: Park Fire Bans - Due to Current Conditions
A park fire ban is in place in Selected Day Use and Campgrounds in theses park due to current conditions and remains in effect unless otherwise extended or removed. During park fire ban periods, all campfire and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamine) barbecues and stoves are prohibited. Gas and electric barbecues and cookers are permitted as long as:
- They're under direct control of an adult
- The ground within 2m of the barbecue is cleared of all flammable materials
- There's an adequate supply of water (minimum of a bucket)

Safety alerts: Detour to Bird Tree Picnic Area
Access to Bird Tree picnic area in Middle Brother National Park is currently affected by a landslip on Grey Gum Ridge Road.
Park visitors can still access Bird Tree picnic area by using Haydons Road off the Pacific Highway instead of the signposted access off Middle Brother Road. There is no access to Bird Tree Picnic Area from Grey Gum Ridge Road to the south (towards the towers) due to this land slip.
