NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service will be undertaking herbicide spraying of Metsulfuron methyl 600WG between Monday 3 June and Sunday 30 June 2019. For public safety, treatment areas will be closed during the spraying. The spraying will be carried out for the control of Bitou Bush on headlands and beaches in:
- Booti Booti National Park
- Myall Lakes National Park (including Broughton Island)
- Darawank Nature Reserve
- Corrie Island Nature Reserve
- Stormpetrel Nature Reserve
- Little Broughton Island Nature Reserve
The program is expected to take 8 days to complete with suitable weather conditions.
Areas will be closed temporarily on the day of spraying and NPWS staff will be present during the helicopter spray operation. Please ensure you follow the directions of all warning signage and the directions of NPWS staff.
