The following areas are closed from Tuesday 7 December 2021 to Monday 1 August 2022 due to extensive road damage during recent weather events:

Wallingat campground access is off The Lakes Way via Sugar Creek Road and River Road. Do not use Barbies Road or Link Road which are inaccessible to vehicles.

Kylies Beach 4WD access remains closed until safe to reopen.

The historic Roto House within Roto House Historic Site is closed for until further notice. Reopening planning is underway for after the Covid restrictions change.

The grounds and carpark of Roto House Historic Site remain open to the public.

Closed areas: Walking track closures due to bushfire damage

Five Islands, Duck Holes, and Moor Creek walking tracks remain closed until dangerous tree works are complete, a pedestrian bridge is reinstalled (Five Islands) and tree risk assessment is completed.

Many infrastructure items, including signs and creek crossings, are yet to be reinstalled.
