Bridge assessment work is being undertaken in Wallingat National Park from Monday 17 February until Friday 21 February 2020. As a result of this work there may be some short delays while driving through the park. Please follow the directions of roadwork signs and staff. Closed areas: Most of Talawahl Nature Reserve closed with some roads open

Talawahl Nature Reserve remains closed. The following roads within Talawahl Nature Reserve have been made safe to travel on:

  • Coates Road
  • Breakneck Road
  • Blackbutt Road.

 Visitors must only use these roads as thoroughfares and must not stop in the nature reserve. NPWS is continuing to work on reopening additional public roads within the reserve. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, contact the local NPWS office.
