Bridge assessment work is being undertaken in Wallingat National Park from Monday 17 February until Friday 21 February 2020. As a result of this work there may be some short delays while driving through the park. Please follow the directions of roadwork signs and staff. The majority of this park is closed due to bushfire damage until Monday 30 March 2020, unless otherwise updated. The following areas remain open:

  • Apsley Falls
  • Dangars Falls
  • Gara Gorge and Blue Holes picnic area
  • Wollomombi Falls - The camping and Edgars lookout are the only areas open. The picnic area and walking tracks are closed.

Park info

  • in Myall Lakes National Park in the North Coast region
  • Myall Lakes National Park is always open but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

  • Park entry fees:

    $8 per vehicle per day.

    The park has coin/card operated pay and display machines at Mungo Brush campground. NPWS visitor service officers regularly visit camping areas to collect fees from campers and sell annual passes. Day passes and annual passes also available from the Great Lakes Area Office, Bulahdelah and Tea Gardens Visitor Information Centres, and other local outlets.

    Bombah Point ferry fees may also apply (cash payment only).
