Nightcap Range Road is closed to traffic in both directions due to a major landslip associated with the 2022 flood event. The closure affects the section of Nightcap Range Road between Rummery Road intersection and Telephone Road trailer parking area.
Access to Minyon Falls and Rummery Park is via Minyon Falls Road only.

Safety alerts: Roadworks on Minyon Drive and Eastern Fire Break
Road maintenance will be undertaken on Minyon Drive and Eastern Fire Break from Thursday 14 January 2026 until Wednesday 4 February 2026.
Minyon Drive, all visitor areas and walking tracks will remain open. Park visitors may encounter heavy vehicles. Traffic control signs will be in place in work zones. Please drive safely and follow the directions of roadwork signs and staff.

Bundjalung National Park visitors may experience loud aircraft noise until further notice. RAAF training operations from the nearby Evans Head Air Weapons Range may be heard and seen from the Black Rocks campground and Jerusalem Creek paddle route and walking track.
Please note:
- The RAAF schedule of planned air operations is available on the Defence Aircraft Noise webpage.
- RAAF schedules for the Air Weapons Range in Bundjalung National Park can change at short notice due to weather or other operational considerations.
- Aircraft may not utilise the range every day of scheduled operations.

Other planned events: 1080 baiting operation
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program in Bundjalung National Park from 24th September 2025 to 24th September 2026.
The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes. Its designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Please travel via Uki using Rowlands Creek and Manns Roads to access the following locations:

Byron Shire Council is currently undertaking flood restoration works within the Main Arm valley, expected to be completed by early 2026.
These works include the restoration and repair of culverts and causeways along Main Arm Road, which is the main vehicle access to Mount Jerusalem National Park when approaching from Mullumbimby. Byron Shire Council have advised that Main Arm Road should only be used by local traffic.
