Closed areas: Walk behind Crystal Shower Falls closed

The walk behind Crystal Shower Falls (waterfall) is closed due to recent rockfall and unstable rocks. It will remain closed until further assessment by geotechnical specialists is completed.

Wonga walk, including the Crystal Shower Falls suspension bridge, remains open to the public.

Other planned events: 1080 aerial wild dog program – New England Escarpment

A 1080 aerial wild dog baiting program will run in this nature reserve or park from Thursday 17 May to Thursday 14 June 2018 with the Local Land Services. 1080 baits will be laid across specific areas of the reserve. 1080 poison may be harmful to domestic animals. Please do not not handle or disturb any baits.

Domestic animals are not permitted in national parks, nature reserves or karst conservation areas at any time. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For further information contact the NPWS Coffs Coast area office on (02) 6657 2309.
