Closed areas: Bindarray picnic area closed due to storm damage

Bindarray picnic area is currently closed due to damage to the access roads from recent storms. The picnic area is due to be reopened on Thursday 9 April 2020.

Closed parks: Nymboi-Binderay National Park and State Conservation Area

This park is closed due to extensive fire damage and fire recovery works. The park is expected to reopen on Monday 30 March 2020. This closure includes:

  • Platypus Flat campground
  • Cod Hole campground
  • Norm Jolly precinct
  • The Junction campground: The campground has been totally destroyed  by fire so is not expected to reopen until September 2020.
