Multiple tracks and areas of Blue Mountains National Park are closed from Tuesday 3 December 2019 until further notice due to dangerous fire conditions. The closed areas include:
- Mount Solitary, Ruined Castle track, Narrow Neck, Glenraphael Drive and some southern Katoomba and Leura tracks
- Mount Hay, Point Pilcher, Perrys (Hat Hill), Victoria Falls, Mount Banks, Pierces Pass, McMahons lookout and Bedford roads
- Burramoko, Kedumba Valley and Mount Banks trails
- Green Gully, Perrys, Ingar and Murphys and remote campgrounds
- Glenbrook precinct, including Nepean fire trail and lookout, Red Hands Cave fire trail and track, Jack Evans track, Jelly Bean Pool and the Oaks fire trail
- Euroka campground (to be reviewed Friday 13 December 2019) and Burralow campground
- Six Foot track
- All remote walking tracks, canyons and rock climbing descending below cliffs out of Mount Wilson, Bell, Green Gully, south of Katoomba to Woodford and into the Grose Valley (excluding Grand Canyon).

Safety alerts: Kanangra to Katoomba walk - water availability alert
Walkers undertaking the Kanangra to Katoomba walk need to be aware that current water availability is very low at Dexs and Mobbs Swamp campgrounds. It is expected that water at these sites will dry up completely within the next couple of weeks. Walkers should not rely on these sites for replenishment of water supplies. The only reliable water on the K2K walk is located on the Coxes River.

Prince Henry Cliff walking track is closed between Leura Cascades and Solitary restaurant until further notice. This closure is due to a landslide that has completely blocked the track. An alternative track is available via Leura Cascades Round Walk. Visitors can also walk from Leura Cascades to Solitary restaurant adjacent Cliff Drive but should be wary of traffic.

National Pass remains closed between Valley of Waters and Slacks Stairs. The closure is indefinite following a serious rockfall in November 2017 which killed a worker and seriously injured two others. The area of the rockfall remains dangerous and the subject of external investigation. The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is reviewing how such geological hazards and visitor access can be managed. Visitors can access the base of the Wentworth Falls below the Grand Stairs.
