Aerial spot spraying of Groundsel Bush using a drone will occur in remote areas in along the south west boundary of Crowdy Bay National Park during the period of 28 May to 3 June 2020, using Roundup Biactive in accordance with APVMA Permit 12363.

Aerial spot spraying of Bitou Bush using a drone will occur on the Diamond Head escarpment in Crowdy Bay National Park during the period of 8 June to 30 June 2020, using Roundup Biactive in accordance with the APVMA Permit 12363.  All walking trails in the area will be closed and signage will be erected on site during operations.

The majority of Werrikimbe National Park and State Conservation Area are closed due to bushfire damage.

  • Cobcroft picnic area and walking track are due to open on Saturday 30 May 2020
  • Hastings Forest Way touring route is closed
  • Brushy Mountain and Plateau Beech campgrounds, picnic aeas and walking tracks are closed.
  • Racecourse and Coachwood trails are closed
