NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is doing 1080 ground baiting of foxes in Crowdy Bay National Park.
This baiting program will run from Monday 14 October to Monday 23 December 2019. It will reduce the impacts of foxes on wildlife and/or threatened species in the park.
There will be 1080 baiting signs at the entrance to baiting areas. Don’t touch baits or ejector devices. Some baits may be buried. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
Domestic pets, including dogs, are not permitted in national parks or reserves. 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) baits are lethal to domestic dogs and cats. In the event of accidental poisoning, seek immediate veterinary assistance.
For more information, contact the local park office on 02 6588 5555 or 1300 072 757 after hours.
