Oberon-Colong stock route to Yerranderie is 4WD only. Recent wet weather has caused slippery conditions with large muddy sections.

Please drive carefully and be aware of road conditions.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing aerial baiting program from Monday 5 September to Friday 16 September 2022 in the following parks:

  • Bangadilly National Park
  • Guula Ngurra National Park
  • Nattai National Park
  • Joadja Nature Reserve
  • Bargo State Conservation Area

The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes.

The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise the impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.

Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting a ground pest management program targeting feral pigs in Burragorang State Conservation Area, Nattai State Conservation Area and Nattai National Park. This program will run from Monday 12 September to Monday 24 October 2022. The program aims to reduce the impacts of feral pigs on water quality and biodiversity. The program will be continuous and ongoing between Tuesday 28 June 2022 and Wednesday 28 December 2022  in Nattai National Park.
