The following areas in Myall Lakes National Park are temporarily closed due to flood impact:

Closed areas: Mid week closures at Korsmans Landing Campground and boat ramp due to road upgrade works
Korsmans Trail in Myall Lakes National Park will be closed for road upgrade works from;
- 24/11 to 28/11 (2pm)
- 1/12 to 5/12 (2pm)
- 8/12 to 12/12 (2pm)
The closure includes;
- Korsmans Landing campground and picnic area
- Korsmans boat ramp
All existing bookings will be unaffected.
Visitors should also expect minor traffic disruptions outside of these dates and are reminded to drive safely and follow the directions of roadwork signs and traffic control.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting biosecurity operations from 24th November 2025 to 24th December 2025. The operation will use ground trapping for the control of wild dogs and foxes.
The program will take place in Myall Lakes National Park, in the Nerong precinct, west of the Pacific Highway between Nerong State Forest, north to Knob Road.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the park. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Please stay on formed tracks and trails, and don't wander into the bush during the operational period.

Visitors can expect minor changes to access during the following timeframes (weather permitting):

- Stoney Creek Road: Feb to March 2026
- Bombah Point Road: Dec 2025 to March 2026
- Yagon Road: March – April 2026
- Mungo Brush Road – Stage 2: July - Oct 2026

Yacaaba Headland walking track, in southern Myall Lakes National Park at Hawks Nest, is open to a viewing point. Beyond this point the track is closed for visitor safety.
Yacaaba Spit track remains open and people can continue to walk along the beach.
