Safety alerts: Poor road conditions due to wet weather
Please be aware that the following publicly open roads and tracks in Parma Creek Nature Reserve and Jerrawangala National Park are in poor condition:
Parma Creek Nature Reserve
- Parma Creek Fire Trail (a short section between Sandy Creek Fire Trail and Hell Hole Fire Trail)
- Hell Hole Fire Trail
- Hell Hole Trail
- Blackbutt Range Road (between Turpentine Road and Parma Fire Trail)
Jerrawangala National Park
- Yarran Road (between Cottonwood Road and Bollerang Creek crossing)
- Deans Gap Road (a short rough/muddy section 700m west of Braidwood Rd)
A 4WD vehicle is recommended and some roads may be impassable. Works will be undertaken to repair roads when resources and weather conditions allow.

Closed areas: Roads closed due to flood damage
The following roads in Monga National Park are currently closed due to significant flood damage causing dangerous conditions after recent heavy rains:
- Bolaro Road
- Buckenbowra River crossing on No Name Mountain Road
These roads will be re-opened for access once they have been fully assessed and any remedial woks completed. Please follow signage and do not enter closed areas.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting a baiting program using fresh meat, manufactured baits and CPEs containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes and wild dogs. The program will be ongoing and continuous from Friday 1 July to Saturday 30 June 2023.
The baited parks, reserves and state conservation areas include:
- Conjola National Park
- Meroo National Park
- Murramarang National Park
- Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve
There will be signs at all baiting locations.
Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks and reserves. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs in the vicinity must be restrained or muzzled and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Please be aware night shooting of foxes may occur in the following beaches in the coming months to protect nesting shorebirds:

Fox control is undertaken by qualified shooters in accordance to shot plans between August and March to protect endangered nesting shorebirds.

Due to ongoing wet weather, roads and tracks in Conjola National Park are in very poor condition. As a result, some roads may be impassable and a 4WD vehicle is recommended for open roads.
The closed roads include:
- Grasstree Road
- Berrara Road
- Fishermans Rock road
- Boundary road
Roadworks will commence in October 2022 and be ongoing into 2023. Expect short delays and road closures across the parks' road network due to these roadworks.

Safety alerts: Wet and muddy roads
Due to ongoing wet weather, unsealed roads and vehicle tracks in Murramarang National Park may have significant erosion and muddy sections. A high clearance vehicle and/or 4WD may be required.
North Head Road and the Old Coast Road remain suitable for 2WD vehicles. Road conditions may change at short notice. Take care and drive safely.
