Closed areas: Four Bull Hut closed due to ongoing pest control operations

Four Bull Hut in the north of Washpool NP is closed until Saturday 1 March 2025 as there is an ongoing pest control operation underway.

Roadworks will be taking place along Farnell Road, Wattle Creek Road, Spirabo Forest Way and Billyrimba Trail from 9am Tuesday 8th October until 5pm Tuesday 31st December 2024.

All areas will remain open, please exercise caution when driving, riding or walking along these tracks, and follow any instructions from signage, staff or contractors.

Please note Washpool National Park’s 2WD entrance off Gwydir Highway onto Coachwood Drive is not impacted by these works.

  • Park entry fees:

    $8 per vehicle per day applies only at attractions in the Glen Innes area. The park uses a self-registration fee collection system. Please bring the correct change and display your receipt.
