Safety alerts: Murray Scrub Road - changed conditions
Recent road maintenance works have been completed on Muray Scrub Road.
Unexpected rainfall immediately following the works has meant the new gravel surface has not yet had an opportunity to fully consolidate and may be slippery when wet.
The road remains open; however, motorists are advised to:
- Drive to conditions and reduce speed.
- Take extra care on the new gravel surface, particularly on corners and steeper sections.
- Follow all road signage.
Some minor finishing works will also be completed once the road surface has dried sufficiently. Traffic may be affected for short periods while these works are undertaken.
