Closed areas: Brindle Creek Loop Road Closure

Brindle Creek Loop Road and part of Tweed Range Scenic Drive will be closed from Monday 11 May 2026 to Thursday 15 May 2026 for vegetation maintenance.  The Pinnacles, Bar Mt & Blackbutts lookout will remain open and accessible from Eastern side via Creegans Road.

Areas affected by this closure are:-

• Antarctic Beech picnic area
• Helmholtzia walking track
• Red Cedar walking track
• Brindle Creek picnic area
• Brindle Creek walking track
• Forest tops campground
• Booyong walking track (accessible only from Sheepstation)

These works are weather dependent and closure may extend if required.

Closed areas: Partial closure Tweed Range Scenic Drive - Border Ranges NP

Tweed Range Scenic Drive is closed at the Western (Wiangaree) entrance of Border Ranges NP for vegetation maintenance.   Areas listed below remain open and entry is via the Eastern (Creegans Road) entrance.  

• Brindle Creek Loop Road - all associated walking tracks & Day Use Areas
• The Pinnacle Lookout
• Blackbutts Lookout
• Bar Mountain Day use area - associated walking tracks
• Sheepstation Creek Campground

It will be OPEN on the weekend from 830am Saturday 09 May until 5pm Sunday 10 May.
