Closed areas: Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive Temporarily closed
Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive will be closed from 10am Friday 13 February until Wednesday 18 February due to Forecast wet weather. The following areas are inaccessible and therefore closed:

- Cambridge Plateau scenic drive
- Culmaran loop trail
- Culmaran Valley track
There is no access to Peacock Creek campground via Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive until the road re-opens. Please use Sextonville Road or Peacock Creek Road. Closure maybe extended if required.

Closed areas: Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive seasonal partial closure
Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive will be closed between Mount Babyl north to Peacock Creek Road until Late February/March 2026 due to hazardous conditions over the wet summer season.
The following facilities will remain open
- Cambridge Plateau picnic area
- Culmaran loop trail
- Culmaran Valley track
Please use Iron Pot Creek Road, Sextonville Road or Peacock Creek Road to access Peacock Creek campground as there will be no access via Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive until the road re-opens.
Telco Companies & related persons that require access to Mount Babyl trail and tower area, can access Mount Babyl using a KRB key only.
The private Airbnb cabin off Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive will remain accessible via Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive from the south via the Bruxner Highway, contact the owner for more information.
