Bald Rock National Park is closed due to bushfire. Do not enter the park. Penalties apply for non-compliance. There are NPWS and RFS fire fighters in attendance.
The fire is called Bald Rock Access Road Fire. For more information, contact the local NPWS office or visit the Rural Fire Service website.
Boonoo Boonoo National Park will remain open during this time.

Vehicle access in Boonoo Boonoo NP is restricted to a maximum of 40km/h throughout the park, and some areas with shared pedestrian access are restricted to 10km/h. Gravel roads can become slippery at times, particularly in wet weather, so please exercise caution and adhere to the sign-posted limits.
