Fire bans: Park Fire Ban
A park fire ban is in place in this park, excluding the following serviced camping and accommodation areas:
- Depot Beach campground
- Pebbly Beach campground
- Pretty Beach campground
- Yellow Rock Beach House
The park fire ban remains in effect for all other areas unless otherwise extended or removed. During park fire ban periods, all campfire and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamine) barbecues and stoves are prohibited. Gas and electric barbecues and cookers are permitted as long as:
- They're under direct control of an adult
- The ground within 2m of the barbecue is cleared of all flammable materials
- There's an adequate supply of water (minimum of a bucket)
If a Total Fire Ban is in place, please contact the local park office before using a gas and or electric barbecue or cooker.

Other planned events: 1080 fox baiting program
NPWS will be conducting a 1080 baiting program for foxes from Monday 13 May 2019 to Friday 20 December 2019. The 1080 poison (sodium fluoroacetate) will be buried baits which will be laid continuously in various locations across:
- Conjola National Park
- Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve
- Meroo National Park
- Murramarang National Park
- Jervis Bay National Park (Lake Wollumboola and Warrain Beach)
- Seven Mile Beach National Park
- Comerong Island Nature Reserve
This baiting program is in accordance with 1080 Wild Dog Baiting provisions in the Pesticide Control (1080 Liquid Concentrate and Bait Products) Order 2017.
Precautions will be taken to minimise the risk to pets and other non-target species. Please remember, it is an offence under the National Parks and Wildlife Act to allow domestic animals into national parks and nature reserves. It is also an offence to interfere with the wild dog control program.
