Some Moira South Campgrounds in the Murray Valley National Park are still closed due to recent flood impacts which require road repair works to be carried out on the Barmah River Road. Online bookings are currently restricted or not available for a period of time while the repair works are carried out.

Fire bans: NSW NPWS Riverina Area - Solid Fuel Fire Ban (SFFB) Commences October 9, 2023
A park fire ban is in place in the parks in the Riverina Area until 6pm 28 March 2024.
During park fire ban periods, all campfire and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamine) barbecues and stoves are prohibited. Gas and electric barbecues and cookers are permitted as long as:
- They're under direct control of an adult
- The ground within 2m of the barbecue is cleared of all flammable materials
- There's an adequate supply of water (minimum of a bucket)

As a safety precaution the Whymoul precinct campgrounds in the Murray Valley National Park are closed due to recent wet weather and flooding.
Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters, so you’ll need to reschedule your visit and avoid travel through areas in this park. Closed areas: Western end of Tin Mines Trail closed for roadworks Woomargama National Park
The western end of the Tin Mines 4wd track (Ferndale boundary through to Tin Mines campsite) will be closed for up to 3 months to allow substantial roads works to be completed. Heavy machinery will be undertaking remedial works and spreading road base to provide a stable track for future management and visitor use. The track will be open to walkers and bicycles on weekends and public holidays during this period unless otherwise notified.
Road closure signage will be placed at each end of the closure.

Safety alerts: Potential for Unexploded Ordinances in Livingstone National Park
There is a Substantial risk of unexploded ordinances (UXO) within Livingstone National Park.
There is signage erected at all entrances to the risk area.
If you are driving, bushwalking or mountain biking in the area, you must keep to the formed trails within the UXO risk area. No camping or digging of any kind is permitted within the risk area.
