Closed areas: Barokee campground and walking tracks access closed

Due to recent storm damage of bushfire-impacted forests, Barokee campground and day use areas (accessible off Round Mountain Road via the Waterfall Way) in Cathedral Rock National Park are closed until further notice, to allow for dangerous trees to be assessed and made safe.

All walking tracks are still accessible from the Native Dog campground (accessible via Guyra Road), but please be aware of extra distances involved in walks when entering from the Native Dog campground entrance, including the Cathedral Rock track.

The Barokee to Native Dog Creek walk can not be completed due to this closure, and all walks departing from Native Dog campground will have to return to Native Dog campground.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this closure may cause.
