Closed parks: Parks closed due to flood and storm damage - Coffs Coast area
Most national parks and reserves in the Coffs Coast area are closed until Friday 2 September 2022 due to widespread flooding. The closure is also to allow risk assessments and repairs to take place. This closure may be extended and any extension will be posted as soon as possible.
Access to the following areas remains open:
- Hard-roofed accommodation that is on-park
- All campgrounds are opened.
As parks, roads and other facilities are assessed as safe, they will be reopened.
Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters. Roads into and throughout the park are / may also be closed. Check Live Traffic NSW for up-to-date information and contact the local park office.
For assistance during severe weather visit the NSW SES website. In life-threatening situations call emergency services on Triple Zero (000).

Closed areas: Areas and roads closed due to flooding
The following areas are closed until Friday 2 September 2022 due to severe wet weather and road damage:
- Binderray picnic area
- Pine Road
- Langleys Road
- Urumbilum Creek Road
Bangalore Falls is accessible to 4WD vehicles via Range road. This closure may be extended and any extension will be posted as soon as possible.
Repairs will be carried out as conditions dry.

Aerial Baiting is scheduled for 06/06/2022 to 10/06/2022
The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Closed areas: Walk with the Birds boardwalk closed for maintenance
Walk with the Birds boardwalk is closed for maintenance until further notice. You can still access Wonga walk, the Glade and Crystal Shower falls.
