Call into the newly-refurbished Royal National Park Visitor Centre, located on the ground floor of the Audley Dance Hall. Here you can pick up a Royal National Park map and find more information to help you make the most of your visit.
Not sure which walk to take? We can provide a list of all the walking tracks in the park. Our staff will help you work out which walks are easy or challenging. Plus they'll give you lots of suggestions about other trails, routes and personal recommendations.
The shady picnic areas surrounding the centre are popular with kids and families and have good facilities. You can also start here if you plan to cycle your bike along Lady Carrington Drive.
With various arts and crafts for sale, Royal National Park Visitor Centre is also the place to go if you’d like to take home a souvenir of your visit.

Skip driving and parking in Royal National Park and catch the Park Connections bus. Hop from Sutherland Station or Bundeena Wharf to spots in the park like Audley and Wattamolla.

Royal National Park is open 7am to 8.30pm but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

Park entry fees:
$12 per vehicle per day. Seasonal ticket booths at Wattamolla and Garie Beach - cash and credit card facilities available. Please bring correct change. There are also coin and card operated pay and display machines to buy day passes or you can pay for your visit via the Park’nPay app.
Vehicles over 8 seats: $4.40 per adult, $2.20 per child (per day). Students on educational programs: $1.10 per student. Teachers/educational supervisors: free (1 adult per 10 students).
