Overview
These school holidays, take a guided tour along historic Lady Carrington Drive. People of all ages come to this old coach road to learn about the unique plants and animals of Royal National Park.

- Easy. Suitable for all ages. Activities are on a mix of surfaces, including unsealed paths. There are some changes in gradient and uneven terrain. You’ll walk 2km to 5km, depending on group. Hippocamp available for complimentary use if requested in advance.

Adult $20 per person. Concession $15 per person. Child (5 to 16 years) $10 per person. Children under 5 free. Family (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children) $45. Children must be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian aged over 18 years).

On this shady walk you’ll have the chance to experience this beautiful environment and engage your senses as you follow the Hacking River along this roadway.
Led by an NPWS guide, you may meet some of the area’s most charismatic residents, like yellow-tailed black cockatoos, echidnas, lyrebirds, kingfishers and wallabies. While walking among the ferns, your guide will share insights about the diverse plants, animals and environments in this very special place.
Please wear enclosed shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen and drinking water.

Royal National Park is open 7am to 8.30pm but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

Park entry fees:
$12 per vehicle per day. Payment options include Audley Visitor Centre, vehicle entry stations, pay machines and the Park’nPay app.
Vehicles over 8 seats: $4.40 per adult, $2.20 per child (per day). Teachers/educational supervisors: free (1 adult per 10 students).
