Safety alerts: Road Conditions - Crowdy Bay National Park

Park visitors are advised that the best road access for low clearance vehicles, or vehicles towing caravans, to Diamond Head, Indian Head and Kylies Beach campgrounds is from the north on Diamond Head Road via Laurieton.

Recent road grading has improved access on Diamond Head Road north and south of Diamond Head.

Crowdy Bay Road remains in poor condition due to wet weather experienced earlier this year. Road maintenance works are scheduled for Crowdy Bay Road in September 2024.
