Mamanga Campground in Yanga National park will be closed for routine roadworks from 28 April until 8 May 2026.
Alternate camping areas are Woolpress Bend Campground & The Willows Campground, in Yanga SCA.

Safety alerts: Red Alert - Blue Green Algae - Yanga Lake
There is currently a RED alert for toxic Blue-Green Algae for Yanga Lake.
Regatta Beach Picnic Area, is still open but contact with the water should be avoided. Algae may be toxic to humans and animals. Contact with or use of water from red alert areas should be avoided due to the risk of eye and skin irritation. Drinking untreated or boiled water from these supplies can cause stomach upsets. Alternative water supplies should be sought or activated carbon treatment employed to remove toxins. People should not fish when an algal scum is present.
