Other planned events: NOTICE OF PLANNED GROUND SHOOTING
The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting ground shooting programs in Yanga National Park for the management of pest animals, primarily feral pigs.
The proposed dates for these operations will occur between 26th to 28th August 2026.
Yanga National Park, State Conservation Area and Nature Reserve will remain open to the public during these operations.
If poor weather occurs, it may not be possible to undertake the control.
NPWS is undertaking the management of these pest animals as they can cause significant environmental damage to biodiversity values of our conservation areas.
If you would like any further information prior to the program, please contact Lower Darling Area Manager Phone: 03 5021 8900 Email: npws.lowerdarling@environment.nsw.gov.au
