Woolpress Bend day-use area and camp sites are closed while new facilities are being constructed. The scheduled reopening date is Sept 25. For more information call the park office.

Safety alerts: Traffic Alert - Waugorah Road
There is currently major construction activity in Yanga National Park resulting in increased heavy haulage vehicle activity on the public road leading to Woolpress Bend Campground. Caution should be exercised to allow for this traffic. There are also sections of road-surface damage including bridge approaches. People accessing Woolpress Bend Campground should exercise caution, give way to trucks, and drive to the conditions.
