Closed areas: Campground Closures

NPWS have closed Mamanga, The Willows & Woolpress Bend Campgrounds in Yanga NP due to ongoing rainfall this week. The situation will be monitored daily and any change will be immediately updated on the website. Please contact the park office on 03 5021 8988 for more information.

Safety alerts: Traffic Alert - Waugorah Road

There is currently major construction activity in Yanga National Park resulting in increased heavy haulage truck activity on the public road leading to Woolpress Bend Campground. Caution should be exercised to allow for this traffic. There are also sections of road-surface damage including bridge approaches. People accessing Woolpress Bend Campground should exercise caution and drive to the conditions.

Yanga National Park is open Sunrise to Sunset but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

Yanga Homestead Precinct is open 8.30am - 4.30pm.
