Closed areas: River Road Closed - Murray Valley Regional Park - Deniliquin
Access to the Murray Valley Regional Park via River Road will be closed to vehicles. The rain and vehicles on these have caused large ruts making this area unsafe & impassable. Once weather permits, repair works are planned to commence.
Willoughbys Beach campground and picnic area will be accessible, however Kira and Pana Campgrounds will be closed to camping.

Closed areas: Road Closures - Murray Valley National & Regional Park
The following areas are closed within Murray Valley National Park and Murray Valley Regional Park until further notice.
The following roads are currently closed:
- Dudleys Road
- Tin Hut Road, and
- Quambies Road
The Tin Hut Firewood Collection area is therefore inaccessible.
Please also note that the following campgrounds within the Milllewa Campgrounds: Regional Park are only accessible via Clay Island Road. There is no access via the Millewa River Road entry near the Murray River:
- Brown Bottle Bend
- Clay Island
- Lower Sandy
- Chimney Creek
- Ash Tree
- Snows
- Deadwood

Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters. Roads into and throughout the park are / may also be closed. Check Live Traffic NSW. For assistance during severe weather visit the NSW SES website. In life-threatening situations call emergency services on Triple Zero (000).

Other planned events: Woomargama NP - Tin Mines Trail - Road works
Roadworks will be underway on Tin Mines trail (Eastern section) starting on the 25/6/25 and ending on the 10/7/25. The road will be closed during the times from 7am until 6 pm. Access to all campgrounds and picnic areas remain open and can be accessed from the western entrance of the park along Tin Mines Trail.

The roads are closed beyond the Willoughbys Beach Campground.
The River Drive and Connection Rd loop provide access to the open Willoughbys Beach Campground only.
Kira / Leaves and Pana / Ring-tailed Possum Campgrounds are closed along with all other roads within the reserve due to vehicle damage occurring from use during wet weather.
Road repairs are required prior to re-opening the closed area which, weather permitting, should occur within the next 4 to 6 weeks.

Fire bans: Park Fire Ban - The Rock NR - Kengal Aboriginal Place
A park fire ban is in place in this park and remains in effect unless otherwise extended or removed. During park fire ban periods, all campfire and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamine) barbecues and stoves are prohibited. Gas and electric barbecues and cookers are permitted as long as:
- They're under direct control of an adult
- The ground within 2m of the barbecue is cleared of all flammable materials
- There's an adequate supply of water (minimum of a bucket)
If a Total Fire Ban is in place, different rules apply. Contact the local park office before bringing a gas or electric barbecue or cooker.

Safety alerts: Potential for Unexploded Ordinances in Livingstone National Park
There is a Substantial risk of unexploded ordinances (UXO) within Livingstone National Park.
There is signage erected at all entrances to the risk area.
If you are driving, bushwalking or mountain biking in the area, you must keep to the formed trails within the UXO risk area. No camping or digging of any kind is permitted within the risk area.
