Closed areas: Crackneck Point lookout closed for gate repair

The gate located at Crackneck Point lookout on Hilltop Street at Bateau Bay will be closed on Friday 21 January 2022 for gate repair maintenance.

Safety alerts: Potential closure on busy days due to high visitation

Putty Beach picnic area is a popular visitor area which on sunny days may become overcrowded, causing traffic congestion and safety concerns. At busy times the access to Putty Beach picnic area may be limited by NPWS or closed completely. Penalties apply for non-compliance with NPWS regulations and parking restriction notices.
