Safety alerts: Deep water in the creek crossings on Dripping Rock and Terarra Creek fire trails
Due to ongoing rain, the usually dry Terarra Creek is now flowing.
The creek crosses the vehicle trail a number of times between the park entrance and Terarra Creek campground and Dripping Rock picnic area.
As of Monday 26 September there is still deep water in some of the creek crossings. The creek crossings all have either a concrete culvert or rock base. However the vehicle trails are a natural surface, or gravel, and so are prone to developing pot holes in ongoing wet weather. To cross these creek crossings, vehicles with high ground clearance are required.
Visitors are requested to carry out their own risk assessment prior to driving through any waterways and caution should be taken at all times when travelling. Please take care and drive to the conditions.
