Closed areas: Roads closures due to wet weather

The following areas are closed until further notice due to wet weather conditions:

  • Pine Road
  • Urumbilum Road
  • Bindarray picnic area

Closed areas: Road Closures due to wet weather

Due to wet weather Norm Jolly picnic area will be closed due to flooding of the Nymboida River.  Access to Platypus Flats and Cod Hole Camping areas is only available via Cascade.  With ongoing wet weather these closures may be in place for several days. Safety alerts: Cod Hole campground access

Forest harvesting operations are occurring in Wild Cattle Creek State Forest, adjacent to Moses Rock Road, on the way to Cod Hole campground.

Harvesting contractors may install temporary road closures for public safety on the road. To gain access or exit to Cod Hole campground, please use the two-way radios provided at the closure gates and call the contractor for permission to traverse the road. Do not drive through closed gates before gaining permission.

Safety alerts: Park roads - 4WD only

Roads across Bindarri are currently not suitable for 2WD vehicles. Roads area slippery and rough in sections because of extended wet weather. Roadworks are scheduled to repair roads as conditions dry. Take care and drive safely.

Other incidents: Moonpar Forest Drive - 4WD only

Moonpar Forest Drive is open to 4WD vehicles only due to wet conditions. The following areas can only be accessed by 4WD:

  • Cod Hole campground
  • Platypus Flat campground
  • Norm Jolly picnic area

Please take care when driving in this park as continual wet weather around the North Coast has made many road sections in this park slippery.
