Areas wihtin the Lake Innes Nature Reserve will be closed for ground pest control operation from 7.00pm, Sunday 4 August to 5.00am, Monday 5 August 2024.
The closed areas are:
Googik Heritage Walking Track - from Lake Road to the Innes Ruins Heritage Site
This program will target all pest animals detected during the operation including rabbits/hares, deer, goats, foxes and wild dogs to reduce the significant impact they have on native plants and animals, including threatened species

Safety alerts: Slippery and eroded walking tracks - Coastal Walk
Recent rain events have resulted in some sections of the Coastal Walk in Sea Acres National Park becoming eroded and slippery. The affected sections are between Miners Beach and Tacking Point Lighthouse. Walkers proceeding with the walk should exercise caution and wear appropriate footwear.
Upgrades to this section of the Coastal Walk are planned to commence Monday 22 July 2024, subject to favourable weather conditions.

Closed areas: Section of track closed on Coastal Walk (Miners Beach to Tacking Point Lighthouse)
A section of the Coastal Walk within Sea Acres National Park will be closed for track maintenance works from Monday 22 July to Friday 30 August 2024 (subject to favourable weather conditions). The closed section of track is between Tacking Point Lighthouse and the carpark located adjacent to the intersection of Matthew Finders Drive and Lighthouse Road.
Access from Shelly Beach and the stairs to Miners Beach will remain open.
