Some parts of this park are closed from Wednesday 1 May to Thursday 2 May 2024 due to a helicopter operation. The closed areas are:

  • Balor Hut and campground
  • Hurleys campground
  • Dagda Shortcut
  • Pincham Track (Including Grand High tops and Breadknife)
  • Goulds Circuit
  • Spirey View
  • Febar Tor
  • Macha Tor

Signs will be in place around closed areas.

Closed areas: Section of Pincham trail to Grand High Tops closed due to rock fall hazard

The Breadknife walk (Pincham trail between Dagda turnoff and the Grand High Tops summit) is closed until further notice due to rock fall hazard. Do not enter the area.

Detour to Grand High Tops summit is via Dagda shortcut. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information contact the Warrumbungle National Park Visitor Center on 02 6825 4364.
