Closed parks: Heathcote National Park and Garawarra State Conservation Area - Flood Affected. Kingfisher Pool Campground Closed

Heathcote National Park  and Garawarra State Conservation Area have been impacted by heavy rain and flooding. It will take several days to assess the full extent of damage.

 

  • All Tracks and Trails are open, however, suggest caution as current conditions and hazards have not been fully assessed.
  • Kingfisher Pools Campground is closed due to the affects of flooding and will remain closed until assessed as safe.

 

 

 

Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters, so you’ll need to reschedule your visit and avoid travel through areas in this park. For assistance during severe weather visit the NSW SES website. In life-threatening situations call emergency services on Triple Zero (000).

Closed areas: Lake Toolooma Fire Trail Closed due to sink hole

Lake Toolooma Fire Trail is closed to Pedestrians and Vehicles, north of Tooloma Dam due to a large sink hole at Waterfall Gully.

Visitors are reminded not to continue walking past Tooloma Dam. 

The section of the track will reopen when it is safe to do so. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
