Closed areas: Some Walking Tracks Closed - Border Ranges NP

The following walking tracks off Sheepstation Creek campground are closed until 17 April 2023 due to recent severe flooding causing multiple treefalls and landslips:

  • Booyong track
  • Rosewood track
  • Palm Valley track
  • Brushbox Falls lookout

These areas will open as soon as repairs are carried out and they are deemed safe for public access. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, contact the Kyogle park office on 02 6632 0000.

Closed areas: Mebbin National Park Campground Open with closed access to some trails

Mebbin National Park and Cutters Camp Campground - OPEN 

Some of the walking tracks and trails remain closed due to landslips and erosion caused by the severe rainfall causing dangerous conditions during February/March 2022.

Areas that remain CLOSED until they are made safe:

  • Original section of Byrrill Creek Walking Track (closed due to severe landslip) an alternative walking track is now available.
  • Lemon Tree Road Fire Trail
  • Walters Road Fire Trail
  • North Boundary Road Fire Trail
