NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting an aerial baiting program using fresh meat containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes. The program will be conducted between Monday 8th August and Saturday 13 August 2022. Affected parks and reserves include:
- Bees Nest Nature Reserve
- Budawang National Park
- Bungonia National Park
- Bungonia State Conservation Area
- Coolumbooka Nature Reserve
- Deua National Park
- Gourock National Park
- Kooraban National Park
- Monga National Park
- Morton National Park

All baiting locations will be identifiable by signs.

Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Closed areas: Kingfisher Road closure
Kingfisher Road in South East Forest National Park will be closed from Monday 18 July to Monday 22 August 2022 while bridge work is taking place. No visitor areas are closed due to these works.
Once work is complete the road will be reopened to the public. Signs, site fencing and barriers will be in place around the closed area.

Safety alerts: Wog Way temporary closure
Wog Way is closed from Kanoonah Road in the north through to the park boundary in the south. Above average rainfall in March and April has caused deterioration of the road surface with a section becoming very boggy and unsuitable for vehicles. Coolangubra Forest Way provides alternative access for park visitors travelling to Waratah Campground or Pheasants Peak from Imlay Road.

Light to Light walking track creek crossings at the northern and southern ends of Saltwater Creek Beach, and Bittangabee Bay are hazardous due to sea surge.
