Bouddi bushcare

Bouddi National Park’s natural coastline is under threat from invasive weeds. If you’re interested in helping to restore the native vegetation along this section of NSW coast, then volunteer to join a local bushcare group. Work is carried out in various sections of the park, including MacMasters Beach.

Gentlemans Halt bushcare camp

This volunteer activity in Marramarra National Park mixes bushcare with a weekend away. We’ll pitch our tents at remote Gentlemans Halt campground by the Hawkesbury, and enjoy a mix of work and walks.

Lane Cove National Park bushcare

In Lane Cove National Park, you’ll find a bush regeneration group working somewhere in the park just about every day of the year. Become a volunteer and get actively involved in conserving the biodiversity of this significant tract of Sydney bushland. Meet new people and enjoy the extra exercise in the great outdoors.

Each group decides how often they volunteer. Most bushcare groups volunteer onsite from 9am–1pm, although there are some afternoon groups.

Lobster Beach bushcare

A group of volunteers works in Bouddi National Park to reduce weed invasion and restore natural vegetation along the shore of Brisbane Water. Whether you live in the area or visit from time to time, you’re welcome to join in as a regular or occasional volunteer.

Mourawaring Moors bushcare

Would you like to play an active role in restoring the natural vegetation of an important section of Bouddi National Park? You can when you volunteer with Mourawaring Moors bushcare group at MacMasters Beach. Join like-minded individuals for an afternoon a month to remove invasive weeds from the area.
