NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting works to protect wildlife, particularly threatened shorebirds, from the 18th August 2026 to 4th October 2026.

Feral animal control will occur within Khappinghat National Park and Khappinghat Nature Reserve.

Please stay on formed tracks and trails, and don't wander into the bush during the operation period.

A reminder that domestic pets, including dogs, are not permitted in NPWS National Parks managed lands.

Road works and culvert replacement have begun to Palmers Trail with construction machinery likely to use Duck Holes Trail which is part of the Khappinghat Crk walking track.
