Overview

Macintyre Falls picnic area is in Kwiambal National Park near Macintyre Falls lookout. It’s a great spot to stop for lunch when you’re exploring the park or if you're visiting the village of Ashford.

From this picnic area it’s easy to enjoy the lookout, take the Rock Pool walking track down to Macintyre Falls plunge pool or tackle the longer Slippery Rock walking track.

There are over 400 species of plants in the park. Take the time to enjoy the wildflowers and the myriad of birdlife they sustain.
