Closed areas: Fourth Crossing Picnic Area

Due to recent flooding events the following areas are closed from 23 November 2022 until further notice so that damaged assets can be repaired. 

  • Fourth Crossing Picnic Area
  • Water Race walking track
     

Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters, so you’ll need to reschedule your visit and avoid travel through areas in this park. Check Live Traffic NSW for up-to-date information about road closures. For assistance during severe weather visit the NSW SES website. In life-threatening situations call emergency services on Triple Zero (000).

Closed areas: Bald Hill walking track closed

The Bald Hill walking track in Hill End Historic Site is closed from Tuesday 4 October due to recent rainfall events causing part of the track to collapse. 

The track will reopen once assessment and remediation works have occurred to ensure park user safety.

Safety alerts: Golden Gully track access

Golden Gully will be closed to users when weather forecasts predict 20mm or more of rainfall within a 24 hour period. Erosion and hazards may be present within the gully during and following significant and prolonged periods of rainfall. Please take care and follow on site signage.
