NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a baiting program using Canid Pest Ejectors and fresh meat baits containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes. The program will be continuous and ongoing between Tuesday 1 September 2020 and Sunday 28 February 2021 in Winburndale Nature Reserve and Girralang Nature Reserve. 

All baiting locations will be identifiable by signs.

Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks and reserves. Pets and working dogs may be affected and must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity of these nature reserves and must not enter these baiting locations (as 1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a baiting program using baits that contain 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes. The program will take place between Friday 1 May 2020 and Monday 31 August 2020 along management trails in Girralang Nature Reserve.

Readily identifiable 1080 poison signs have been positioned at trail entry points or trail junctions as well as other appropriate locations throughout the reserve.

Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks and reserves. Pest and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
