Overview

Bindarri State Conservation Area was created in January 2003. It covers an area of 434ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.

Enjoy exploring by 4WD along the 80km Orara Escarpment 4WD touring route. Starting from Coffs Harbour, this route takes you through pockets of old-growth forest in Bindarri State Conservation Area and Bindarri National Park, with plenty of scenic places to stop for a picnic, walk or swim.

Koala spotting

Keep an eye out for koalas when you visit. This park is home to important koala habitat that's protected as an Asset of Intergenerational Significance (AIS).
