Just a short stroll from Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre, these picturesque huts feel a world apart. Tucked away in bushland down by the river, this is a place where you can immerse yourself in peaceful nature, enjoying the sound of birds and the babble of the passing river.

Your picnic or party can continue rain or shine, because these huts are covered. Each has 2 timber picnic tables, with barbecues close at hand to cook up a tasty feast with friends or family.

Keep an eye out for local lyrebirds and shy swamp wallabies in the surrounding bush. If you’re keen to explore, check out the award winning Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre, to get information on the local area, other attractions, local Aboriginal heritage or find souvenirs and local art and craft. From there it’s just a short, easy boardwalk stroll to views of the spectacular Fitzroy Falls, where water plunges 81m into the deep rainforest ravine below.

If you're keen for more amazing waterfall and escarpment views, try West Rim walking track , East Rim and Wildflower walking tracks, especially lovely in spring.
