Starting from the carpark, you’ll head out along the eastern side of the gorge. Passing through open forests of stringybark trees you’ll make your way to Tia Falls lookout and then Tia Gorge View lookout, where you can take in the stunning view before turning around and heading back. Tia Falls picnic area near the carpark is a great spot for a snack or lunch before or after your walk.

While you walk, see if you can spot some of the local animal and birdlife, including swamp wallabies, wallaroos, crimson rosellas and jacky dragons. And in the warmer months, keep an eye out for brown and black snakes which you’ll often find basking on the trails.
